Studio Project 1 - The Astrove-Rockefeller Residence

Design Concept: Eclectic, Warm, Heritage

The home of Will Astrove and Marcus Rockefeller will reflect the couple’s eclectic style, which both honors the history of each of their families, while also making space for contemporary aesthetics and interests. Their historical SoHo apartment space serves as an ideal canvas to display the couple’s art collection – including works from Banksy, Barbara Kruger, and Christopher Wool – and heritage furniture pieces from family members in Boston and Savannah.

Color and pattern are incorporated throughout to further enhance the vibrant variety of the
couples’ cherished belongings. The juxtaposition between the past and modernity is expertly balanced to create a harmonious and warm environment, to be enjoyed by the couple and welcoming to frequent family visitors and guests.
